e–Vol Powers Voluntary Sector in Wales
e–Vol is poised to become the ‘de facto’ management information solution for the Voluntary Sector across Wales with the decision to implement the system throughout CVCs (County Voluntary Councils) in Objective 1 areas.
With the system already in use in all 6 Objective 3 areas, Wales is now able to produce consistent, consolidated reports from a central source at a national level, providing a platform for true change.
Senior Internet’s Managing Director, Pete Senior, says of the news “This is wonderful, it is vindication of our belief in the system and a real opportunity for us to work even more closely with what is now a forward thinking sector. Volunteering is a hot issue currently and the sector is fast becoming a beacon for best practice in the use of technology. With this decision, Wales is set to become one of the leading proponents of online data storage, management and manipulation.”
It is anticipated that e–Vol will make real world savings of several man months in the auditing of records and report preparation alone.
